This animated short film was created in collaboration with Lucas da Silva as our graduation project for the 3D Animation Design course at Faculdade Méliès (2023).
The project follows a full production pipeline and was developed over approximately 10 months, during which we were still learning many of the techniques involved. Despite the challenges, it became a highly valuable experience in both artistic development and collaborative production.
My responsibilities covered multiple stages of the pipeline, including:
- Character modeling (including sculpting and retopology), props, and environment assets;
Art direction;
Screenplay adaptation
Lookdev, lighting, and rendering;
Texture creation for props
Compositing, motion graphics, editing, and post-production
Sound direction (voice acting coordination, soundtrack, and SFX supervision).

Throughout production, I was involved in both creative and technical decisions, helping define the visual style and ensuring consistency across all stages of the film.
I was also co-responsible for subtitle creation and the official registration of the film in audiovisual regulatory bodies (such as ANCINE), supporting its eligibility for festival circulation and formal distribution.
The project was also a strong exercise in production planning, pipeline coordination and collaborative asset integration, especially given the long timeline and the learning curve involved. In the end, the short film was selected for some festivals and received valuable constructive feedback that contributed to my understanding of professional animation pipelines and storytelling refinement.

Software: Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, V-Ray, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Procreate.
